ROSENBUM, Roger Dale – of Flint, Michigan, age 77, passed away on July 2, 2026. A Funeral Service will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, Michigan 48423; Pastor Todd Kingsbury. Interment will take place following the service at Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors 3-7 PM on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, and again on Thursday, one hour prior to the service, beginning at noon.
Roger was born in Flint, Michigan, on March 27, 1949, the beloved son of the late Bryan and Myrtle (Medlind) Rosenbum. On July 8, 1988, he married the love of his life, Nancy Mosketti, in Toledo, Ohio. Together they shared many happy years until Nancy's passing on May 30, 2020. Roger dedicated 38 years of faithful service to General Motors before enjoying a well-earned retirement. A gifted craftsman with an inventive spirit, he found great joy in tinkering, building projects, and restoring and painting cars. He had a special admiration for Corvettes and took pride in everything he worked on. A man who embraced life, Roger loved staying active. Whether riding his bicycle, taking leisurely golf cart rides, or spending time at deer camp - "Ee-Ya-Kee"! He treasured every opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and make lasting memories. Roger's greatest joy, however, was his family. He was a loving, caring, and devoted father, grandfather “Papa,” great grandfather, and friend whose generous heart touched all who knew him. His faith was the foundation of his life, and he was a faithful member of River of Life Worship Center. Roger will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his strong faith and the countless lives he enriched through his generosity, warmth, and genuine care for others.
Roger is survived by children: Tony (Laurie) Rosenbum, Jason (Anya) Rosenbum, Tonya (Chris) Eaton, Cody (Emily) Rosenbum and BreeAnna Rosenbum; grandchildren: Tristen (Darby), Savannah, Nate (Tiffany), Cheyenne, Aaron, Haley, Logan, Jaylin, Cody Jr. and Olivia; several great grandchildren; girlfriend, Rose Locke; very dear nephew, Tommy Mosketti; many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by siblings: Barbara, Raymond, Harold, Caroline and Sherron; mother to the 3 eldest children, Wanda Haley.
