Shirley Wanita Pavlik of Flint, age 90, died Saturday November 27, 2021 at the Pines of Burton. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. Private inurnment will take place at a later date on the family plot in Evergreen Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions in Shirley’s memory to the Salvation Army 211 W. Shirley was born in Columbia Heights, Minnesota on December 19,1930 the daughter of the late Joseph & Delores (Tollers) Duray and has resided in the Flint area most of her life. She was joined in marriage to Robert Pavlik on March 16, 1952 and he preceded her in death on January 16, 1991. Shirley enjoyed the outdoors and spending time gardening. She was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church.
She leaves her children: Ruthann Pavlik, Catherine (Gary) Stuber, Robert Pavlik, Bruce Pavlik and Karen Popoff. Also her loving grandchildren: Hollie, Kirsten, Jesse, Lauren, Leslie, Amber, Angela, Amy, Rochelle, Zachary, and her great grandchildren: Casey, Ava, Griffin, Lake, Walker, Eden, Ellery, and Audrey. Surviving siblings; Karen Kriesel, Joan Butterfield, Bruce Duray, and a host of extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by siblings: Richard Duray, Marjorie Bellows, Joseph Duray, Robert Duray, Ralph Duray, Virgina Steirbach, Sonny Duray and Catherine Duray.
