MUSSON, James - Of Clio, age 82, died Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Hurley Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held 11am Saturday, January 7, 2023 at North Baptist Church, 4004 Lennon Road, Flint,
Pastor Harold Burkholder officiating.
Burial in West Vienna Cemetery.
Contributions may be directed to North Baptist Church
Visitation 3-8pm Friday, January 6, 2023 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Visitation 10am Saturday at church until the time of the service.
James was born in Owosso, Michigan on October 16, 1940, the son of the late Andrew and Elsie Musson. On September 15, 1962, he married Kathryn Taliaferro. Jim was employed with AC Spark Plug for over 40 years, retiring in 2005. He was member of North Baptist Church, where he served in many capacities, most recently as Chairman of the Board and Deacon. Jim enjoyed traveling (especially to Mackinac Island), golfing, running in road races and attending all of his grandchildrens’ sports events and concerts.
Surviving are wife, Kathryn;
children, Drew Musson, Amy (Darrin) Storms, and Jeff (Dawn) Musson;
grandchildren, Chelsea (Brandon) Worden and Ben Storms;
great-grandchildren, Magdalena Worden and Theodore Worden;
sister, Pat Sisson;
and many nieces, nephews and in-laws.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Musson.
