Webb, William Alfred Jr. - Age 85, of Burton, died September 19, 2023. A memorial service will be announced in the future. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. Those desiring may make contributions to the Burton Senior Center. William was born April 25, 1938 in Johnstown, PA. the son of Mary Jane and William Webb Sr. He lived in California and was a member of the L.A. County Fire Department. After moving to Michigan he joined City of Burton Fire Department in 1972 and retired in 1984 as Battalion Chief. He was instrumental along with many volunteers in raising money for Muscular Dystrophy. William also worked at V8 Engine Plant in Flint before retiring in 1992. He was an avid hunter, woodworker and loved to travel and camp. William is survived by his wife, Jeanne Webb; son, Michael (Karen) Webb; daughter, Sharin Webb (Geoffrey Caldwell); grandchildren, Wayne Webb, Russell Webb, Leslie Caldwell, Tyler Caldwell; sister-in-law, Mary Marles; 13 great-grandchildren. William was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert Webb. Tributes may be shared on the obituaries page of www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
