DIERICKS, Albert C. – of Davison, MI, formerly of Lapeer, MI, age 74, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, March 11, 2017. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Todd Gillert officiating. Interment Alchin Farms Cemetery, Webberville, MI. The family will receive visitors 12-3 PM and 4-7 PM Tuesday, March 14, 2017 and 10-11 AM Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, in Al’s memory.
Al was born in Almont, MI on July 6, 1942, son of the late Albert and Marie (DuPont) Diericks. He married Patricia Warner on May 2, 1975 in Howell, MI. He was a Class of 1960 graduate of Armada High School in Armada, MI. He retired from General Motors Pontiac Division Plant #15 on March 1, 1992 after 32 years of service. Al loved NASCAR, classic cars, drawing, sketching and going to casinos.
Al is survived by his loving wife of nearly 42 years, Patricia; 3 sons, Dale, Michael and Kevin (Joy) Diericks; daughter, Brenda Suiter (Don Jones); 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Kenneth Diericks; many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by sister, Eilene Diericks and an infant brother.
