TAYLOR, June P. - Age 95, of Flint Township, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023. Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek (A live stream of the service will be available on June's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Deacon Ron Kenney officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday from 4-8 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society.
June was born May 21, 1927 in Flint, the daughter of John Lloyd and Priscilla Anna (Walmsley) Jaques. She attended Dye High School. She had resided in the Flint area her entire life. June retired from AC Spark Plug after 30 years of service. She attended St. Pius X Catholic Church. She was a member of the U.A.W. Local 659. She enjoyed gardening, dancing, doing ceramics and going on casino trips.
Surviving are: her children, Carl Ronnie Simpson of Flint Township, June Marie (Wayne) Wilson of Sanford, Richard James Simpson of Flint Township and Tony Terry Taylor of Flint Township; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; sister, Patricia Johnson of Flushing; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Jack, Richard, Pete, Mike, Gary and Jerry. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
