OBITUARY
Richard was born October 2, 1944 in Saginaw, Michigan but lived most of his life in Tuscola, Michigan. He graduated from Vassar high school in 1962. Richard worked 12 years at Universal Tooling of Frankenmuth, Michigan. He retired from Delphi (formerly Saginaw
Steering Gear) after 25 years’ service. His love and memories will be cherished by his loving wife, Jill Ann Smith; and mother, Loraine Smith; children, James Smith and his wife Sabrina, Michael Smith and his wife Terri, Jeff Smith, Carrie Smith and her husband Anthony; siblings, Dale Smith and his wife Carol of Tuscola, Michigan, David Smith and his partner James of Bay City, and Dawn Lanfear and her husband
Brian; six nieces and nephews along with a special niece, Darcey Allen; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and dear friends, Dennis and Cathy Nusz. He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Kenton Smith; sister, Donna Allen; and great granddaughter, Adelina.
Donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation in his honor.
