Donald Hauck
Age 82 of Owosso passed away Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Durand Senior Center.
Funeral services will be held 11am Friday, March 28, 2014 at Nelson-House Funeral Home with Pastor Marlene Webster officiating. Burial will follow at Crestwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6 to 8pm and Thursday from 2 to 8pm.
Donald was born September 8, 1931 in Flint, the son of Herman and Dorothy (Gotwell) Hauck.
He was an avid Detroit Lions fan and enjoyed watching his grandchildren and their many activities and sporting events. Donald looked forward to time with his family and grandchildren.
Donald married Audrey D. Carter in Flint on June 30, 1958; she predeceased him in 2004.
He retired from Carmen-Ainsworth School District.
Donald is survived by his children Debra Lowry, Ruth (James) Frey, April (Phillip) Crans, Theresa Pease (Mark Conner) and Timothy (Melba) Hauck; 17 grandchildren Michael, Heather, Rebecca, John, Jacob, Elizabeth, Sandra, Jimmy, Shannon, Donnie, Kelly, Beth, Becky, Stephanie, Scott, Stacy and Trisha; 42 great-grandchildren; brother Paul (Lou) Hauck; sister Rosemary Hilsebeck.
He was predeceased by his son Steven Hauck; daughter Susan (Steve) Davis; grandson James Frey
