Jeanette Amelia Mason of Davison, age 81, died Monday January 10, 2022 at her residence. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon Friday January 14, 2022 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Dr. Lance Fischer III officiating; Private burial will be held at Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive visitors from 4-7 pm Thursday and from 10 am Friday until time of services at the funeral home.
Jeanette was born in Flint Michigan on March 30, 1940 the daughter of Alexander & Alta (Schopf) Guest and has resided in Lapeer County for many years and Davison since 1993. She was joined in marriage to Kenneth L. Mason on July 18, 1959. She was a spirited artist who loved to paint and draw. She also spent numerous hours crocheting .Jeanette had been a foster parent for many years, and attended Davison Community Baptist Church.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of over sixty-two years Kenneth, her children: Kenneth L. Mason II and wife Cheryl, Carrie Brooks and husband Michael, Richard Mason and wife Cindy, and Charles Mason. She also leaves her loving seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and a host of extended family. Jeanette is preceded in death by son Ronald Mason, her brother Allen Guest, and sister Valerie Ryan. Please share your condolences at www.hansenfuneralhome.net
