RUGGLES, Sue Lynn (Pederson) – of Davison, MI, age 71, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2022. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Monday, October 10, 2022 at Central Church of the Nazarene, 1261 West Bristol Road, Flint, MI 48507; Pastor Rob Prince officiating. Interment immediately following the service in Crestwood Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 4-7 PM Sunday, October 9, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423 and 10-11 AM Monday, October 10, 2022 at Central Church of the Nazarene. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Gideons International, www.gideons.org, in Sue’s memory.
Sue was born in Detroit, MI, on July 9, 1951, daughter of the late Donald and Virginia (Campbell) Pederson. She was a graduate of Lakeville High School Class of 1970. Sue married Leonard Ruggles on June 19, 1971 in Burton, MI. She was a member of Central Church of the Nazarene. Sue worked in childcare and was a Sunday School teacher for many years. She owned and operated Adorable Angels Daycare Center in Flint, MI. Sue enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, sewing, crafts, reading and traveling, especially spending winters in Florida. She had a deep faith in Christ and loved to share her testimony with others.
Sue is survived by her husband, Leonard Ruggles; 3 children, Brent Ruggles, Jennifer (Jonathan) Parker and Jeffrey (Kathryn) Ruggles; 6 grandchildren, Kyle Ruggles, Matthew Ruggles, Daniel Ruggles, Leah Parker, Olivia Ruggles and Makenzie Ruggles; brother, Larry (Beatrice) Pederson; stepmother, Jacqueline Pederson; special family friend, Betty Wade; several nieces, nephews, other loving family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Pederson and Virginia (Adolph) Kunasiewicz.
