PERRY, Richard “Dick” - Of Flint, age 79, died Sunday, March 27, 2022 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral service will be held 11am Friday, April 1, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Steve Wood officiating.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to Old News Boys.
Visitation 5-7pm Thursday and 10am Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Richard was born in Flint, Michigan on October 19, 1942, the son of the late Daniel and Elsie (Spencer) Perry. On September 11, 1961, he married the love of his life, Catherine Burrows and she preceded him in death in 1999. Dick was an avid golfer. He loved trivia and watching the game show Jeopardy. His hobbies included reading, fishing, music and singing. He loved football especially U of M football, “Go Blue!”. Above all else, he loved spending time with his family.
Surviving are children, Vicki McKeever, Paula Hinton and Jill (Kent) Smith;
Grandchildren, Spring McKeever, Ari (Cara) McKeever, Josie Remstedt, Ellie Hinton, Elise (Jarrett) Lane and John Ghattas;
Great-grandchildren, Leela, Connor, Maybel and James;
And sister, Dorothy Quick.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert, Jack, Floyd and James Perry and sister, Pauline Miller.
