MATTHEWS, Mark R. –Of Denver, Colorado, formerly of Flint, age 60, died Saturday, July 3, 2021 as a result of a boating accident in Harrison Township.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial visitation will be held 2pm-4pm Saturday, July 10, 2021 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Mark was born in Flint, Michigan July 8, 1960, the son of Robert and Barbara (Baker) Matthews. Mark enjoyed hunting and spending time in the north country.
Surviving are mother, Barbara Carlson and companion, John Chapleski of Flushing;
Sisters, Debra and husband David Reynolds of CO and Diana and husband David Klocko of Flint;
Half-sisters, Allison Brinsley of AZ and Meredith Matthews of WI;
Partner, Jackie Nichols of CO;
And nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Matthews.
