Ms. Berneice Brown was born on February 26, 1953 in Popular Point, NC. She was the oldest of seven children born to the late William David Brown and Dollie Brown Stephens.
Berneice departed this life on November 6, 2020 after a lengthy illness. She received her education in Flint, MI. She attended Jefferson Elementary School, Bryant Junior High School, and was a graduate of Northwestern High School. She went to Baker College and did data processing for two years and she drove the school bus. She went to Sunday School with her brothers and sisters at St. Paul Church on the corner of Pierson Road and Selby Street. Later she attended Vermont Christian Church with her father and mother. She was baptized by Rev. Thomas W. Courts along with her brothers, sisters, and father. She enjoyed cooking and playing cards, Burger King whoppers and baseball.
Berneice leaves to cherish her memories 2 children, Eric Eugene Brown of Jacksonville, FL and Chandra Brown of Arizona, mother, Dollie Brown of Flint, MI, 4 sisters, Deloris Booker, Sandra Copland, Sonya Brown all of Flint, MI, and Cynthia Brown of Gardener, M?, 2 brothers, William D. (Kimberly) Brown of Flushing, MI and Glen Earl Brown of Flint, MI, grandchildren, Eric Brown Jr., Elijah Brown, Darrell Gowdy Jr., Shalayla Brown, Ja’Quan Brown, Da’Wuan Brown, Tanell Brown, great grand-children, Lauren Gowdy, Kaiden Clark and a host of nieces and nephews.
Berneice was preceded in death by her father William David Brown.
