Mr. William “Catman” Love III was born May 29,1953 in Forest City, Ark. The son of William Love, II and Freddie Mae Hunter-Love. He relocated to Flint, Mi., with his entire family at an early age. He attended Flint Community Schools and at Northwestern was on the Jr. Varsity Basketball Team with his brother Joe Edward Love. Mr. Love also received a Certificate of Completion as a Nursing Assistant. He had many talents, playing several musical instruments including Lead and Bass Guitar, organ, piano, harmonica and singing. Something which he often he did often in the neighborhood. He earned the nickname “Catman” by doing cat imitations which everyone loved to hear him do. He also had a passion for fishing and being on the grill. He never complained and loved making people laugh. His family called his sister “The Five Heartbeats.” He loved the Lord! Mr. Love leaves to celebrate his memory: four sisters, Ora Lee (Herbert) Pate, Diane (Gilbert) Croom, Sharlla Love and Margaret Braddock brothers, Joe Edward (Shirley) Love, Willie (Patricia) Love and Robert Love all of Flint, Mi., aunts and uncles including Pastor John (Julia) Jenkins, Eddie Paxton of Flint, Mi., and Pastors Walter (Betty) Paxton of Chicago, Ill. A hot of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. Mr. Love was preceded in death by his mother, Freddie Mae Hunter-Love, father, Williams Love II., sister, Frencie Sanders and brother Arthur Love. The family would like to express special thanks to Beaumont Hospital and Rainbow Nursing Home of Farmington Hills, Mi.
