Mary Lou Kline of Flint age 82 died Saturday June 26, 2021 in Gainesville, Florida. A funeral services will be held at 11:30am Thursday July 8, 2021 at Hansen Funeral Home Downtown Davison. Rev. Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating with burial at Meadowlawn Cemetery Columbiaville, MI. Family will receive visitors Wednesday from 1:00-4:00 pm at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions in Mary Lou’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
Mary Lou was born in Davison, MI on August 25, 1938 the daughter of the late William and Mildred (Long) Sickner. She resided in the Otter Lake area most of her life, spending her retirement years since the late 1980’s between winters in Florida and summers in Michigan. Mary Lou was joined in marriage to Duane W. Kline in 1971 in Otter Lake, MI and he preceded her in death April 30, 1993. She was a member of the American Legion Post 162 Auxiliary and member of Lake Como United Methodist Church of Pomona Park, Florida. She was an avid Bingo player.
She is survived by brother: Bill and wife Florence Sickner and a host of extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by siblings: Clarence Sickner, Eldora Keen, Shirley Thatcher, Gladys Kline, and Josephine Wilson. Please share your condolences at www.hansenfuneralhome.net
