ROBITAILLE, MD, Dr. Maurice Louis - Of Grand Blanc, age 81,
died Sunday, January 18, 2015 at his residence.
Memorial Mass will be celebrated 5pm Thursday, January 22, 2015
at the Holy Family Catholic Church, 11824 South Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc,
Father Jonathan Perrotta officiating.
Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hurley Medical Center Cancer Fund.
Visitation 4pm Thursday at the church until the time of the Mass.
Maurice was born in Lewiston, Maine on November 9, 1933, the son of Alfred and Yvonne Robitaille. He was an Urologist with the Urological Services, P.C. for 30 years, retiring in December, 1995. Dr. Robitaille performed the first kidney transplant in Flint. He was Chief of Surgery at Hurley Medical Center for many years.
Surviving are children, Theresa Jones and Daniel and wife Nancy;
granddaughters; Chloe Jones and Sophia Jones;
grandson, Alexander Robitaille.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice in January 17, 2001 and brother, Camille Robitaille and 2 sisters, Theresa and Sister Jeannine Robitaille.
Dr. Robitaille resided with his daughter and granddaughters where they lovingly cared for him. He passed away at home peacefully.
