RENSHAW, Audrey Helen (McMillan) – of Lapeer, MI, age 79, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2024. A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Monday, February 19, 2024 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating. Interment immediately following the service in Meadowview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive visitors 11 AM-1 PM Monday, February 19, 2024 at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice, in Audrey’s memory.
Audrey was born in Twining, MI on October 15, 1944, daughter of the late LeRoy and Jennie (Podleski) McMillan. She was a graduate of Standish-Sterling High School Class of 1962. Audrey married Norman “Bob” Renshaw on July 17, 1965 in Otisville, MI. Their union was a testament to enduring love and partnership that spanned over five decades. Audrey's professional calling was one of unwavering dedication to her family. Her true vocation was as a mother, and she excelled in this role with boundless love and care. Audrey was a constant presence at every ball game, school event, and milestone for both of her children. Her devotion extended to cheering on her grandson during his football games, where her unwavering support was a source of inspiration for all. Her true talent was the love she showered upon her family. Audrey performed this role with grace, warmth, and an abundance of kindness. Her nurturing spirit created a home filled with love, laughter, and a sense of belonging that will forever be remembered. Audrey's legacy is one of love and family, and her absence leaves an indelible void in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply, deeply missed by all who were touched by her warmth, generosity, and unconditional love. May she rest in peace, and may her memory continue to inspire us to cherish and celebrate the bonds of family that she held so dear.
Audrey is survived by her husband of 58 years, Norman “Bob” Renshaw; 2 children, Larry Renshaw and Barbara Renshaw; grandson, Andrew Renshaw; sister, Nadine Renshaw; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, LeRoy and Jennie McMillan; parents-in-law, Morris “Pete” and Ilene Renshaw; sister, Naomi Edmonds; brother, LeRoy McMillan and daughter-in-law, Lisa Renshaw.
