BEERS, Dale – of Davison, age 82, passed away on January 3, 2023. A Funeral Service will be held 12 Noon Saturday, January 7, 2023, at South Flint Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1467 E. Maple Ave., Burton; Pastor Donald Sparks officiating. Interment will be in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 4-7PM Friday, January 6, 2023, at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to myastheniagravis.org or the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Burton.
Dale was born in Flint, MI on May 19, 1940, son of the late Donald and Eleanore (Reinke) Beers. He married Shirley Cuthbert on October 4, 1991, and she preceded him in death on October 5, 2009. Dale graduated from Flint Central High School in 1958. He retired from AC Sparkplug after 35 years of service. Dale enjoyed westerns, John Deere tractors and all things military. Dale had a sweet tooth and enjoyed all types of cookies. Most of all, Dale loved spending time with his family and friends.
Dale is survived by his brother, Ross (Linda) Beers; niece, Karen (Paul) Beers-Andrusiak; nephews, Ryan (Elise) Beers, Rob Milroy and Ron Milroy; great nieces and nephews, Adam, Arianna and Jacob Beers; cousins, Janet, Paula and Tonya; special friends, Dawn Johnson, Gary Nelson, Gearhart and Kathy Kohen, Dale and Ruth Fitch, Bill Amis and Cecil Christo; many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Karen Beers; stepson, Charles Panter, Jr; great niece, Juliana Beers; cousins, Leroy Miller and Tom Reinke.
