Dylan Richard Chadwell age 23 of Byron passed away Saturday, June 5, 2021 unexpectedly at Ascension Genesys Hospital. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 11, 2021 at 10:30 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church, 700 Columbia Dr. Durand. The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 6-8 PM at Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, Durand Chapel and one hour prior to the service at the church. The rosary will be prayed at 7:30pm on Thursday evening at the funeral home.
Dylan R. Chadwell was born November 25, 1997 in Flint, the son of Richard and Denise (Bancroft) Chadwell. Dylan is a kind, ambitious, shy and loving young man with a big heart. He enjoyed playing guitar, big trucks, computers, gaming and running a YouTube channel about playing video games. Dylan also built computers. He had been employed by P.C. Server and Parts.
Dylan is survived by his mother, Denise Chadwell; father, Richard (Lindy) Chadwell; sisters, Rachel (Will Fedewa) Chadwell and Corrie (Jesse) Jameson; brothers, Joshua (Sara Sutton) Perrin, Brent (Shelbie) Perrin and Noah (Kathy) Perrin; grandma, Betty Chadwell and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gaylord (Carol) Bancroft and Dale Chadwell.
