SELBY, Bonnie Beverly - of Fenton, entered into the arms of Jesus, her Lord & Savior at the age of 86. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, January 30, 2025 at Benchmark Church, 5530 Runyan Lake Road, Fenton. Pastor Tony Chick and Pastor Tom Hoose officiating. Burial in Gardner Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton Wednesday from 4-8 PM and at church Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
Bonnie was born March 27, 1938 and raised in Hartland. She was the third of five daughters of Wesley and Marie (Cornell) Brower. She was a consistent top producer in real estate in the Fenton area for 32 years, where she thrived professionally. As a single mother of four, she balanced a successful career while nurturing a close-knit family. She cherished spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, attending their sporting events, and vacationing at her cottage on Glen Lake in northern Michigan. Bonnie also loved spending time with her four sisters and many nieces and nephews.
Boating and hiking were Bonnie’s favorite pastimes, and she had a deep love for the outdoors. Her faith was a guiding force throughout her life, and she was an active member of her church community from childhood. She served as treasurer of her church for many years, offering her time and skills to support the congregation.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley and Marie Brower, and her sister, Betty Hoose. She is survived by her children: Richard Selby, John (Brenda) Selby, Roxane (Tim) Edwards and Tedd (Wendy) Selby; 12 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters: Shirley Walker, Janet Kendall, and Joyce Gearhart.
