Lloyd was Born on June 13, 1934, to the late Glen and Irene (Hall) Massey. He attended Mt. Morris High School. On November 11, 1960, he married his beloved wife, Nola Wesenick, and they embarked on a lifelong journey together with unwavering love and commitment. As a proud U.S. Army Veteran, Lloyd served his country with honor and dedication. He was a do-it-yourselfer, and he owned and operated Massey Homes for many years. Lloyd was a faithful member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Clio where he found solace and shared his values with others. For two decades, he served on the board of Trustees, contributing his time to the growth and well-being of the church. Lloyd found joy in spending time with his loved ones and pursuing his hobbies.
One of his greatest joys was escaping to the family's lake house at Sage Lake, where he reveled in boating and water skiing. These treasured times brought the family together and created unforgettable memories. He loved teaching children and coached youth little league for several years. Lloyd enjoyed road trips, card parties, and taking vacations - especially sailing with his dear friends in Charlevoix. Moreover, Lloyd could often be found at Big Boy, having breakfast with his “breakfast club”. He led a fulfilling life filled with cherished memories and will be greatly missed.
