George was born April 18, 1931, in Swartz Creek, Michigan, to the late James and Bernadette (Horvath) Gadany. He graduated from Flint Northern High School in 1949. George married Rochelle King on March 25, 1981, together they enjoyed many wonderful adventures over the years. He was a proud U.S. Army Veteran, and bravely served his country during the Korean Conflict. George worked at Buick for several years before ultimately retiring from AC in 1996, with an impressive 45 years of service. He was an active member of the Clio Eagles Aerie #3609 for many years. His love for the great outdoors guided him to enjoy countless hobbies, including fishing, hunting, boating, snowmobiling, motorcycles, golfing, and building and flying his own model airplanes. Additionally, George had a deep appreciation for the farming lifestyle, finding solace and joy in working the land. He found joy in simpler pleasures too, he was an avid swimmer, enjoyed mowing his lawn and having a good stiff shot every once and a while.
