MAY, Robin Marie (VanEckhoutte) - Of Flint, age 54, died peacefully in her sleep Wednesday, February 5, 2014.
Cremation has taken place.
Memorial Visitation will take place 3-7pm Sunday February 9, 2014 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan.
Robin was born in Flint on December 7, 1959, the daughter of Ronald and Helen VanEckhoutte. She married Douglas E. May on July 19, 1980. Robin loved to go “up North” with friends and family, also to casinos. She also enjoyed crocheting rugs and afghans.
Surviving are husband, Douglas;
children, Melanni Jennifer Zerka, Terinna Lynn May, April Marie May and Jason Douglas May;
grandsons, Alex Zerka, Emilio Martinez, Matthew Zerka and Aydin May;
father and stepmother, Ron and Debbie VanEckhoutte;
brother, Chance VanEckhoutte;
sisters, Debbie Kaake, Helen Hamby, Heather Ramsey, Melissa Danko and Carrie McKenzie;
in-laws, Robert and Eva May;
4 sisters-in-law and 5 brothers-in-law;
many nieces, nephews, numerous friends.
