MC WILLIAMS, Billie E. - age 73 of Linden passed away July 7, 2019. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 AM Thursday, July 11, 2019 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 600 N. Adelaide, Fenton. Fr. David Harvey Celebrant. Visitation 4PM-8PM Wednesday at Sharp Funeral Homes Fenton 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton and 10:00 AM until time of Mass Thursday at Church. Vigil Service 5:30 PM Wednesday. Interment 1:30 PM Thursday at Great Lakes National Cemetery 4200 Belford Rd., Holly. In lieu of flowers contributions to the Gary Sinise Foundation would be appreciated. The foundation serves our nation by honoring our defenders, veterans, first responders, their families and those in need.
Billie was born March 19, 1946 in Broseley, MO, the son of Hershel and Lois (Doyle) McWilliams. He married Mary G. Martin in Davison, November 26, 1971. Billie graduated from Bendle High School in 1964. He proudly served in the US Air Force during the Viet Nam Era as part of the Strategic Air Command. Billie was employed as a Salesman for Paramount Potato Chip Co., Flint and Better Made Potato Chip Co., Detroit for over 30 years. Billie was an avid outdoors man, and was an accomplished athlete, excelling in basketball and golf.
Surviving are: wife, Mary; daughters, Jeannine (John) Strickert, Carrie (Brad) Chanter; grandchildren, Katherine, Matthew, Thomas, and Margaret; sister, Barbara (David) Slayton, Larry (Debe) McWilliams; many nieces and nephews.
