SHEPPARD, Louise Marie – Of Burton, age 92, died Saturday, December 26, 2020 at her daughter, Diane Eddy’s residence.
A private funeral service will be held.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Atherton United Methodist Church.
Louise was born in San Antonio, Texas on June 7, 1928, the daughter of the late E. Sunday and Pearl (Zimmerman) Desy. Marie moved to Flint in 1934 and was raised by the late William and Alice Klenk. She married the late Earl Thomas Sheppard on February 26, 1949. She was an active member of Atherton United Methodist Church in Burton. Marie taught 5th grade at Atherton School for 24 years.
Surviving are children, Holly Myers (Ron Horvath) of Warren, Ohio, Thomas (Gail) Sheppard of Flint, Diane (Duane) Eddy of Rhodes, Timothy (Beth Ann) Sheppard of Flint;
10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Constance Kontyko and brother, Robert Klenk.
