Todd, Jerry W. – of Clio, formerly of Flushing, age 77, passed away Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Maple Woods Manor of Clio. Funeral Services will be held at 11AM Thursday, November 9, 2023, at Flushing United Methodist Church - 413 E Main St, Flushing, MI. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, from 4PM until 8PM at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, and at Church on Thursday from 10AM until the time of service. A Masonic service will be held Wednesday night at 7PM at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital or Toys for Tots.
Jerry was born January 31, 1946, in Flint, Michigan, to the late Walter and Maurgite (Luce) Todd. He attended and graduated from Flushing High School with the class of 1966. Jerry then went on to attend Michigan State University, receiving his associate in agriculture. In his later years he became a certified chef from Mott Community College. Jerry married Janet Edwards on August 27, 2004; they shared 19 wonderful years together. He worked for General Motors as a skilled tradesman for 25 years, retiring in 2010. Jerry then owned and operated Jerry’s concrete and snow removal for 20 plus years. He was an avid member of Flushing United Methodist Church. Jerry was a Master Mason, as well as the Past Master of Lodge 223. He enjoyed working and trying different foods. You could always find Jerry at family gatherings spending time with family and friends. Overall, he was a great man that will be missed by many.
Surviving are: Loving wife of 19 years, Janet Todd; Children: Jerry W.C. (Barb) Todd, Amy Elliott, David Todd, James (Michelle) Todd, and Russell (Dalilah) Brown; He was blessed with 8 grandchildren; Brother, Richard (Brenda) Todd; Sisters: Jodi Wonderlee ,and Bonnie (Dana) Caverly, and his special furry companion, Molly.
