MACSUGA, George Michael “Mike” – of Davison, age 64, passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at Ascension Genesys Hospital. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 1 PM, Saturday, November 20, 2021, at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd. Davison, MI 48423. Pastor Gary Curell will officiate. The family will receive visitors from 11 AM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be considered to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
Mike was born in Trenton, Michigan on September 13, 1957, son of the late George and Jo Ann (Brown) Macsuga. He married Deborah (Menosky) on November 20, 1973. He attended Linden High School before a lengthy successful career in manufacturing. Mike enjoyed his trade and was a mentor to many people in the industry, including many of his family members. He spent many hours with his children and grandchildren telling stories and jokes, fishing, playing games and attending their sporting events. Mike found his Faith in Christ later in life and wanted to share the message of eternal life with all. It became his focus that his family knew and walked with Christ.
Mike is survived by his wife, Debbie; children, Christina (Jason) Fortune and Jason (Barbara) Macsuga; grandchildren, Blayne (Celeste) Fortune, Faith Fortune, Bryce Fortune, Allison Macsuga, Madison Macsuga, Brianna Macsuga, Lillian Macsuga; siblings, Laurie, Ron and Theresa; and many other loving family, friends and adopted grandchildren to include Braley, Zachary, Preston, Zach, Abby, Isabelle, Chloe, Emily and Andrew. He was preceded in death by brother, Robert.
