ROY, Dale – Of Burton, age 62, died Sunday, May 29, 2022 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Judson Baptist Church, 4471 East Atherton Road, Burton, Pastor Greg Rowan officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to Judson Baptist Church.
Visitation 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Friday, June 3, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Dale will be at the church from 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service.
Dale was born in Flint, Michigan on November 25, 1959, the son of
Gerald and Delores (nee Crenshaw) Roy.
He received his Associates Degree in Biblical Studies, and nearly completed his Bachelor’s Degree in same program.
He was a member of Judson Baptist Church for 45 years and served as Deacon and sang in the choir.
Dale was employed by Flint Auto Auctions for 15 years and worked at Abbotts Meats for 19 years.
Dale was very loving and kind, with a joyful happy heart.
Surviving are mother, Delores;
brothers, Jerry Roy Jr., Mike (Michelle) Roy;
nieces and nephews,Grace (Dustin) Wesselhoeft, Onica (Nick) Raybourne, Jeremy (Katy), Nathaniel and Autumn;
7 great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald.
