DILLEY, GLADYS A. “POLLY” – Of Burton, age 88, died Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at McLaren-Lapeer.
Visitation 10 a.m. and Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, August 12, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Ronald Osborn officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to Evergreen Cemetery for headstone.
Gladys was born in Flint, Michigan on August 22, 1933
to the late Curry and Gladys (Balderstone) Harris. She was a homemaker.
Polly was a member of the New Life Wesleyan Church and also belonged to the Fenton Township Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving her are son, Joe (Brenda) Dilley; daughters, Theresa (Bob) Carney and Linda (Steve) Aker;
9 grandchildren, Angie (Ron),
Kristina (Jarrod),
Charles Jr. (Melissa), Jennifer (Sean), Michele (Fred), Nick, Jack, Marshall and Ray;
great-grandchildren, Andrew (Shelbie), Luke (Makenzie), Morgan, Hayden, Hunter, Audrey, Emma, Mackenzee, Jaxon, Bentley, Charlee, Adalynn, Dezzlyn and Avalon;
great-great-granchild, Harper;
brother, Denny Harris;
many nieces and nephews;
special friends, Bill and Becky Walker and Michele Matheson.
Mrs. Dilley was preceded in death her parents; sister and 5 brothers.
