TRAVERSE CITY – William Nesbitt Anderson, 79, of Traverse City passed away Thursday, Oct. 21, 2010 at Grand Traverse Pavillions.
William was born Nov. 30, 1930 in Oxford Wisconsin the son of Edwin and Winifred (Nesbitt) Anderson.
As young man William served his country in the Army and saw service during the Korean War
William is survived by his three siblings, John Anderson, Robert (Dorothy) Anderson, Helen Jamieson; and eight nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister in law, Beverly Anderson; and a brother in law, Thomas Jamieson.
A memorial service is to be held at a later date. Burial will be held in Oxford Village Cemetery in Oxford, Wisconsin.
Arrangements are with the Martinson Funeral Home of Suttons Bay.
