CLUGSTON, Raymond J. – of Davison, Michigan, age 90, passed away peacefully with his loving family at his side on September 2, 2025. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423 at 1 PM on Friday, September 26, 2025; Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating. The family will receive visitors from 11 AM until the time of service on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Genesee County Humane Society or the American Cancer Society.

Raymond was born in Donora, PA on May 25, 1935 son of Robert and Maggie Clugston. He graduated from Flint Technical High school in 1953. Ray married Mary Jane Demo on May 26, 1956 in Flint. Mary Jane preceded him in death on October 23, 2008. He proudly worked for AC Spark Plug retiring as a Tool Engineer. Ray loved the outdoors and spent a lot of time hunting, fishing, camping, bird watching and golfing. Ray was a member of the Cannan Club and spent many hours hunting. Ray and Mary Jane loved to travel and would head to Florida in the winters. Ray loved sports but especially enjoyed football he was often cheering on the Davison Cardinals or the New England Patriots. Without a doubt, his family was his greatest source of joy. He took great pride in his children’s and grandchildren's accomplishments. He will greatly be missed by his family.

Raymond is survived by children, Mark (Theresa) Clugston, Janice (Jim) Ciosek, Tracey (John) Frazier, Scott Clugston; grandchildren Jaynie (Cameron) Shiflett, Katie (Frank Alcala) Clugston, Erin (Mark) Clugston-Lipari, Jade Ciosek (Logan Farner), Daniel (Kendyl) Clugston, Jack Frazier and Faith Frazier; great grandchildren Beckett Shiflett, Lennon Clugston, Levigh Blackledge, Magnolia Lipari; many other loving family members and friends. In addition to his parents and wife Ray was preceded in death by his birth parents, Robert and Mary G Dickie, six brothers, Robert Dickie, Thomas Dickie, Joseph Dickie, William Dickie, Innes Dickie and Arthur Dickie.

The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Karen Young, Sue Eickhoff and Emmilou, Koddie Baker and the staff at Charter Senior Living Center and Swan Hospice for their care and support.
