Judkins, Helen Ventia – of Flint, MI, age 88, passed away on May 19, 2022 A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Monday, May 23, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI., 48423; Pastor Jud Judkins officiating. Interment will take place following the service in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 12-8 PM Sunday, May 22, 2022 and 11 AM Monday until time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
Helen was born in Paragould, Arkansas on December 7, 1933, daughter of the late James Edwin and Eithel (White) Stewart. She married Charles Emery Judkins on July 12, 1955 and he preceded her in death on June 15, 2017. Helen loved playing softball, sledding with her children, cooking holiday dinners and baking for her family. She enjoyed bowling, bingo, traveling to casinos, heading south, and above all she loved to be with her family. Helen was an avid Detroit Tigers fan and loved watching them.
Helen is survived by daughters, Judy Harris, Carol (Larry) Durance, Christine (Kerry aka: honey-bun) Judkins-Barrett and Cathie and the late Robert Lewis; grandchildren, Eric, Jason, Rachael, Alisha, Misty, Angela and Joseph; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Zachary, Alana, Onna, Raffael, Charlie, Christy, Adriana, Gage, Natalia, Jordan, Kadence and Macy; sister, Linda Clifft; special niece, Carol Jean and many other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by daughter, Charlotte Williams, son-in-law, Phil; grandchildren, Daniel Jonah Guillen and Todd Allen Lewis.
