Kristin Marie Goodman (Morell), age 42, of Mt. Morris, left to meet her lord and savior on August 22, 2023. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a future date.
Kristin was born December 25, 1980 in Dearborn, Michigan, spending her whole life in this beautiful state. After graduating from Fenton High School in 1999, she pursued a career in residential/commercial title abstracting/examining. In 2017, Kristin married her husband Rick (Ricky) Goodman. Together they have a blended family of one daughter, Alexa, and two sons, Hunter and the late Collin. Kristin loved spending time with her family. She loved the outdoors, kayaking, camping, bonfires, the drive-in, gardening, hiking, and just being in nature. She loved animals and doted on her three cats. She also loved art and crafting, often with her mother, Elyn. She had a knack for decorating and loved refinishing\refurbishing projects and anything related to cooking. She was an amazing cook not afraid to experiment and had recently taken up making homemade pasta. Kristin had a charming, vibrant and bold personality that glimmered like the sun shining on every person who had the pleasure to meet her.
She is survived by her husband, Rick Goodman and daughter, Alexa Hurley; mother Elyn Alexander; sister Karyn Vargo and nephew Ethan Vargo; Grandmother Yvonne Siegwald; in-laws Ricky and Marti Goodman; Jason and Jenny Goodman; John and Marta Goodman and Nick and Sherry Goodman as well as many loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and friends.
