MEREDITH, Shelby Lee "Skippy", III - of Linden, passed away May 22, 2021. Funeral Services 1PM Friday, May 28, 2021 at The River Church 8393 E. Holly Rd., Holly. Pastor Chuck Lindsey officiating. Visitation 12PM until the time of service Friday at Church. Interment at Oak Hill Cemetery, Holly. Memorial contributions would be appreciated to the family. Shelby was born June 11, 1978 in Pontiac, the son of Shelby Lee and Phyllis (Boyle) Meredith, Jr. He married Christina Lynn Barron in Jacksonville, FL February 14, 2007. Shelby was employed as a Dry Wall Finisher. He attended the Rock Church in Linden. Shelby loved to work on cars, woodworking, hunting, and fishing. He also had a "side business" paving driveways. Surviving are: his wife Christina; children, Asya (Ian McAlindon) Meredith, Camiren Meredith; mother, Phyllis Valdez; father, Shelby Lee "Skip" Janet Meredith Jr.; step mother Sheila Meredith; siblings, Nedra (Nate) Stafford, Thyra Carnes, Kelly Belcuore, Jenny McCullough; and several nieces and nephews.
