DANN, Maxine Margaret (Bailey) – of Burton, MI, age 91, passed away Sunday at her home, October 2, 2022. A Funeral Service will be held 6 PM Thursday, October 6, 2022, at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Gary Cech officiating. Private burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 12-6 PM Thursday, October 6, 2022, at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Adopt-A-Pet in Fenton, adoptapetfenton.com in Maxine’s memory.
Maxine was born in Clement Township, MI on June 8, 1931, daughter of the late Glen and Louise (McDowell) Bailey. She was a member of Grace Community Christian Fellowship. Maxine enjoyed genealogy, crocheting, and completing crosswords. She was an animal lover who often took in strays. Maxine worked at Mott Adult High School for 17 years.
Maxine is survived by son, George (Connie) Dann; 4 grandchildren, Kaylie (Chad) Edgar, Heather (Christopher) O’Lear, Christina Robbins and Amanda Cech; 10 great-grandchildren, Alyssa Nichols, Tyler (Alyssa) O’Lear, Colin O’Lear, Caitlin Edgar, Kimberly (Joseph) Lash, Katelyn (Jerold) Pemberton, Allison Robbins, Michael Siddons, Andrew Cech and Evie O’Lear; many great-great-grandchildren; sister; Josephine Neubecker; many other loving family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Dann; daughter, Marquita Banks; parents, Glen and Louise Bailey and good friend, Fred Lively.
