ARNOLD, David Allen Sr. – of Davison, Age 72, passed away peacefully April 5, 2017 at his residence. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Monday, April 10, 2017 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd. Davison; Pastor Chris Radcliffe officiating. Burial will be in Davison Cemetery. Visitation will be 12-8 PM Sunday and 9 AM until time of service on Monday. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
David was born April 9, 1944, son of the late Orville and Joyce (Miller) Arnold. He married Vera “Lynn” (Yorks) on October 10, 1964 in Davison, MI and she preceded him in death on February 7, 1998. David retired from GM after 36 years of service. He enjoyed spending time with his family, singing with “Brothers in Song” and various other groups.
Mr. Arnold was blessed with a large and loving family. He is survived by his sons, David Jr. (Colleen) of Davison, Christopher of Otisville, and Todd (Tracy) of Otisville. Special nieces, Jessica and Sarah; grandchildren, Christopher, Kari, Jarrett, Logan, Keaton, Parker, Dakota and Sierra; brothers, Anthony (Karen) of Gatlinburg, TN, Leonard (Judy) of Henderson, NV. He was preceded in death by his sister, Jacqueline and brother, Timothy.
