HENDERSON, LoraLee – Of Flushing, age 87, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at Regency at Grand Blanc.
Funeral service will be held 11am Friday, December 6, 2024 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating.
Visitation 4-7pm Thursday and 10am Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to Calvary Community Church.
LoraLee was born in Flint, Michigan on September 13, 1937, the daughter of Alex and Louise (Morrison) Peterman. She was a member of Calvary Community Church, Flushing Moose Lodge, a lifetime member of Flushing VFW Auxiliary and former member of Industrial Business Girls. LoraLee was employed at Ternstedt-Coldwater Road Plant for 34 years, retiring in June of 1992 as a Timekeeper and worked in hourly payroll.
Surviving are daughter, Hope L. and husband Dr. Larry C. Black;
Granddaughters, Rachel Louise and husband Mitch VanSumeren and Nicole Lee and husband Karsten Holmquist;
Great-granddaughters, Claire and Abigail;
Nieces, Sara, Mary, and Audra.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Brenda, brothers, Johnny and Lee, nephew, John and niece, Colleen.
