Marilyn E. Hollister, of Genesee, died March 28, 2023, at her home at the age of 93. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 11 AM Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd. Davison, MI 48423. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to The Salvation Army in Marilyn’s memory.
Marilyn was born in Unionville, MI on September 16, 1929, the daughter of Tressel and Irene Fader. She married Booth Hollister on July 26, 1948, in Caro, MI. Marilyn enjoyed her family, traveling, reading and quilting.
Marilyn is survived by her daughter, Roxy (Ronald) Hawks; son, Scott Hollister; three granddaughters, Kimberly (Darren), Stephanie (Gaylord) and Melanie (Tom); two grandsons, Benjamin (Jenny), Jeffery (Jan); there are nine great-grandchildren, Emily, Amber, Megan, Molly, Morgan, Mallory, Joey, Ryan and Weston; brother, James (Cindy) Fader; sister and best friend, Roberta Eisinger; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Booth in 2021; sister, Jacqueline Smith; brother, DeVere “Pete” Fader; and brother-in-law Duane Eisinger.
