Price L. Simon life time resident of Arbela Twp. and Millington passed away suddenly at his residence on December 29, 2013, Price was 51.
Born on February 1, 1961 in Flint Michigan, Price was the son of the Presley Edward & Margaret (Atkin) Simon. Price was graduate from the Millington High School. After school he went into business with his dad and brother Steve to form the Simon Grocery Warehouse and Varity Store in Arbela Township. Price was dedicated to the business. He loved working in the family business and worked hard 7 days a week with his brother Steve in the day to operation of the business, the long hard hours never bothered Price. Price loved working out at the Gym, and watching the deer and other wildlife on the family property.
Price leaves to cherish his memory his mom Mrs. Margaret Simon, his siblings, Marion & husband Randy Poe, Daniel & wife Yvonne Simon, Alma & husband John Simpkins, David & wife Cindy Simon, Linda & husband Ray Benson, Edward & wife Heather Simon, Susan & husband Ken Meharge, and Steve & wife Georgia Simon. Price leaves also several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. Price is preceded in death by his father Presley, (Ed) Simon in March of 2009.
The family will receive friends at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington on Friday from 12:00 noon until 8:00 pm, and also an hour prior to the services beginning on Saturday. The funeral will be 1:00 pm Saturday January 4, 2014 at the Hanlin Funeral Home. A private burial will follow at the Gunnell Cemetery in Arbela Twp. In Millington Michigan.
