WODTKE, Donna J. – Of Flint, age 88, died Monday, January 27, 2025 at Regency of Grand Blanc.
Funeral service will be held 11am Saturday, February 1, 2025 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 402 S. Ballenger Highway, Flint,
Reverend Dean Dumbrille officiating.
Visitation 2-8pm Friday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Visitation 10am Saturday at church until the time of the service.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to St. Paul Lutheran School or St. Paul Lutheran Altar Guild or Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center.
Donna was born in Flint, MI on May 29, 1936, the daughter of the late August and Elsie Domke. She graduated from Bendle High School. Donna’s faith was very important to her and she was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and the Altar Guild. Donna married Frederick Wodtke in 1962. She enjoyed socializing with family and friends. Donna retired as a Librarian/IMC Clerk for Neithercut Elementary School.
Surviving are children, Wayne Wodtke and Jayne (David) Sanne;
Brother, Wayne Domke;
Her extended family, Betty Sanne, Paul and Michele Igram and adopted granddaughters, Lauren and Elizabeth (Matt) as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick.
Special thank you to the many family and friends who assisted Donna with her care the last few years.
