ARNDT, Kenneth Earl - Age 97, of Linden, passed away Thursday, February 19, 2026. Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden (The service will be live streamed and can be viewed via Kenneth's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Pastor Paul Kollek officiating. Burial 11 AM Thursday, February 26, 2026 at Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:30 AM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to Hope Lutheran Church, 7355 Silver Lake Road, Linden, MI 48451.
Kenneth was born September 2, 1928 in Waters, the son of Adam Carl and Emma (Brickman) Arndt. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corp from October 1946 until July 1948. He married Mary Jane McKay June 18, 1949 in Wyandotte. He retired in 1993 from GM Fisher Body Grand Blanc after 40 years of service. Kenneth was a Charter Member of Hope Lutheran Church in Linden. He also was a member of the U.A.W.
Surviving are: his wife of 76 years, Mary; children, Elizabeth Arndt of Linden, Kathy Reidelbach of Fayetteville, NC, Dale (Lynne) Arndt of Grand Rapids, Kenneth Arndt II of Lakewood, WA, Gregory Arndt of Livingston, TN, and Mary Jane (Jason) Fitch of Fayetteville, NC; 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 5 sisters and 6 brothers. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
