Robert Wesley Johnson Jr. of Bay City, MI passed away on Friday, January 12, 2024, at University of Michigan Hospital. A Funeral Service will be held at World Outreach Center, 2275 N. Irish Rd., Davison, MI on Wednesday, January 17th at 12 PM, officiated by Pastor Jerry Pruett. The family will receive visitors Tuesday, January 16th from 12-3 PM and from 4-8 PM at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI.
Robert was born in Flint, Michigan on August 25th, 1965, son of Robert Johnson Sr. and Sandra (Berry). Robert is survived by his loving partner Jane Bohlinger, his devoted mother Sandy, and brothers David (Katrina), Aaron (Kelly), and Andrew (Rachel). Robert also leaves behind his three children: Tyler Johnson, Taylor Johnson (Robert), Tess Landon (Keith) and stepson, Jordan Bohlinger. A proud grandfather, he leaves behind five beautiful grandchildren, McKenna, Alice, Annabelle, RJ, and Lilianna. Robert loved his nieces, nephews, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Johnson Sr. and his stepfather Robert Berry.
Robert, mostly known as Bobby, will be remembered for his musical gifts and love for his family. Bobby could make anyone laugh with his sarcastic sense of humor and ability to light up a room. He could pick up a guitar and play a song by just hearing it. If you spent time around him, he was probably singing you a song or learning something new on the guitar. The biggest thing that he will be remembered for is his heart of gold. He would give anything to help others and wanted to do good in this world. His love for God drove him every day to be the best person he could be. He was devoted to his children and loved them dearly. He will be remembered and missed beyond words.
