HARROD, Carol – of Grand Blanc, age, 81 passed away on August 25, 2022 at Raspberry Manor. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 11 AM Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home 9136 Davison Rd. Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Brad Lake officiating. Visitation will be 10 AM until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Raspberry Manor.
Carol was born in Flint, MI on February 8, 1941, daughter of the late Ross and Vera (Hoyle) Carter. She married Louis Harrod Sr. in 1960 and he passed away on September 22, 1986. Carol loved gardening, knitting and crocheting. She never minds going fishing.
Carol is survived by sons, Louis (fiancé Gloria Warsham) Harrod II and Scott (Diane) Harrod; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by granddaughter, Carol Ann in 2016; brothers, Warren Carter and Robert Carter; sister, Donna Personadeck.
