HAGLER, Anna A.C. - Age 84, of Lennon, died Monday July 26, 2021. Funeral services will be held 12PM Friday, July 30, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Pastor Brad Foster officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Gaines. Visitation will be held 2PM-8PM Thursday and 11AM until time of service on Friday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Shriners Hospitals for Children. Anna was born July 24, 1937 in Lansing, the daughter of Wentzel Kristian and Anna Kristine (Them) Jorgensen. She married Alvin Russell Hagler on May 4, 1953 in Corinth, MS and he preceded her in death on December 1, 2013. Anna enjoyed camping, fishing, and especially spending time with her family, going to the cottage and traveling with Russell. She also enjoyed archery and served as an Archery Chairperson for the Greater Flint Olympian and CANUSA Games for many years. Surviving are: children, Rodney (Julie) Hagler, Pamela (Ray) Balutowicz, Gary (Marian) Hagler; 10 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; brother, James Jorgensen and sister-in-law, Sherry Trafford. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Wentzel and Anna Jorgensen; brothers, Charles and Gary Jorgensen. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
