SNYDER, Hilary D. - Age 86, of Flushing, died March 29, 2021. Services will be held 4 PM Saturday April 3 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, Deacon Rod Amon officiating. Visitation will be held 1-4 Saturday, April 3. Hilary was born October 31, 1934 in Flint the son of David and Rachel (Haley) Snyder. He married Barbara Slater on September 17, 1955. He worked in Skilled Trades at Buick retiring with 47 years of service. He was an avid golfer and Detroit Tigers Fan. He was a longtime member of Dom Polski. Surviving are: his wife of 66 years Barbara; three children, Teresa Potvin of Swartz Creek, Denise (Mike) Markowiak of Temperance, Phil (Karry) Snyder of Flushing; grandchildren, Jacob Norman, Colby Norman, Trevor Snyder, Senior Officer Del Rio TX, Haley Snyder, Megan Snyder; great-grandchildren, Lilly Norman, and Cameron Joseph Snyder; several loved nieces and nephews; and several cousins; special friend Ralph Cribbs; and many more dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; son Joseph in 2010; sisters, Bernadine Callahan, Margaret Walters, Mary Scott, and Patricia Hoholik. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
