HUNTLEY, Richard Jay - Age 75, Flint, died Saturday, December 27, 2014. Services will be announced for Wednesday, December 31 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Friends to gather at Great Lakes National Cemetery 15 minutes prior to service. Visitation will be held 2 - 8 PM Tuesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Those desiring may make contributions to Wounded Warriors Project.
Richard was born March 28, 1939 in Davison, the son of Leroy and Beatrice (Zimmerman) Huntley. He married Betty Nesbitt on November 30, 1963 in Pontiac. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He retired from GM-Buick. Richard is a member of Aero RC Club, and enjoyed model railroading and RC Airplanes.
Richard is survived by his wife, Betty; children, Jay (Lisa) Huntley of Gaines, Karen (Peter) Ausiello of Charlotte, NC; seven grandchildren, Zachary, Taylor and Skylor Huntley, Olivia and Madeline Chu, Peter and Lauren Ausiello; sister, Loraine (Carl) Kruger of Fl; brothers-in-law, Thomas (Carol) Nesbitt, Brian (Laura) Nesbitt; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
