POKORNEY, Everett Franklin - Age 56, of Durand, died Monday February 8, 2021. Funeral services will be held 1PM Friday, February 12, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Pastor Curtis Ashmore officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held 11AM until time of service on Friday. Everett was born November 8, 1964 in Mineola, NY, the son of Everett and Ella (Schweigert) Pokorney. Everett proudly served his country in the Army. He was a Furniture maker by trade and enjoyed fishing, hunting and enjoyed building. Surviving are: sister, Ellen (Paul) Ashmore of Durand; many nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews. . He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Ella Pokorney; daughter, Kristina Abshire and nephew, Ronnie Krantz. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
