Jones, Beatrice "Trixie" Marie of Grand Blanc, died peacefully on February 19, 2020 at the age of 91. Visitation will be held from 11am-1pm with a service following at 1pm Friday, February 28 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Trixie was born on the family Lawndale Farm in Lennon on November 5, 1928, the daughter of Samuel Earl and Blanche Hazel (Lawcock) West. She married her high school sweetheart, Douglas Duane Jones in Flushing on August 9, 1947. They were happily married for 69 years. He preceded her in death on March 10, 2017. She worked until she was 90 years old and resided in Grand Blanc for nearly 50 years. Trixie was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and was also a devoted member of Kirkridge Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her children, Diane (Tom) Peart of Marshall, Mark (Cheryl) Jones of Rochester Hills; grandchildren, Chad (Lisa) Peart, Wesley (Erin) Peart, Robert (Raigan) Jones, Nicholas Jones, Ashley (Brad) Diekema, Katie Morgan; great-grandchildren, Aubrey Jones, Colin Jones, Makena Jones, Jakob Peart, Mark Jones; brother, John West and many nieces and nephews. Trixie was preceded in death by her brothers, Merton West, Bob Talsma, Keith Talsma, Jack Talsma; sisters, Audrey Harper and Marion Luce.
