ETSON, Sean – of Flint, age 56, died peacefully April 27, 2023, surrounded by the love of his family. Honoring Sean’s wishes, cremation will take place. A memorial service will be held 12PM Saturday, May 20, 2023, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Burial at Sunset Hills Cemetery to follow. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home Friday, May 19, 2023, from 12PM until 8PM and Saturday from 11AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Old News Boys of Flint.

Sean was born October 23, 1966, in Flint, to Jack and Barbara (Ham) Etson. He attended Grand Blanc High School where he received his high school diploma in 1984 and the Lincoln Technical Institute in Indianapolis where he received his associate degree in Auto Service Management. On August 19, 1989, Sean married the love of his life and best friend, Christina, and together they cherished 33 years of marriage. Sean was an active member of the Victory Motorcycle Club of America and the Wolverine State Chapter Motorcycle Club where he shared his love of motorcycles with fellow club members. He enjoyed traveling - especially on his Victory Vision motorcycle, collecting Hotwheels, and keeping his hands busy building cars or working on his bikes. Sean was the rock of his family, and he absolutely adored his grandchildren. All would agree that he was the most incredible father and even better Grumpa. Sean will be deeply missed by many.

Sean is forever loved by his wife, Christina Etson; Children: Kelsea (Benjamin) Brock, Rebecca (Evan Morse) Etson, Taveon Harris, Gavin (Maria) Etson, and Gabe Etson; Grandchildren: Madi, Claire, Emerson, Nolan, Ellory, Lochlan, Melody, and Xavier; Mother, Barbara Montrull; Siblings: Scott (Julie) Etson, Jeffery (Melody) Etson, Brian (Michelle) Etson, Brandon (Megan) Montrull, Victor Montrull, Jr., Jim (Shawn) Montrull, and Rhonda (Joe) Harding; Nieces: Ashley (Steve) Weiss and son, Connor, and Alicia Ferreira and daughter, Cora; Brother-in-law, Tony Basolone; Sister-in-law, Tammara (Shawn) Butterfield; Many beloved cousins, extended family, and wonderful friends. Sean was preceded in death by his father, Jack H. Etson; Stepfather, Victor Montrull, Sr.; Sister, Shelly Basolone; Grandparents.
