KING, Kenneth C. - Of Flushing, age 83, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at McLaren Hospital-Flint.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at St. Robert Catholic Church, with Father Brian Lenz officiating. There will be a gathering of family and friends from 10:00 a.m. Thursday until the time of the Mass. An inurnment will take place at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Ken was born in San Antonio, Texas on April 25, 1941, the son of the late Barney King and Ida (Schulte) Koby. He served in the United States Air Force. Ken retired from the General Motors Truck and Bus Assembly Plant after over 35 years. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, refinishing guns, hockey, golf, gardening and he loved western movies/tv.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia King (Dmoch) of 58 years and their four children, Kevin (Joe), Lee Ann (Jason), Steven (Shelly), and Mark (Marcie); Grandchildren, Amelia, Christopher (Rebeca) and great grandson, Neo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Barney King; stepfather, John Koby and mother, Ida Koby (Schulte); brothers, Edward and James and sister, Martha.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the Flushing Christian Outreach Center.
